Hereford & Worcester WWT Group

Our group committee includes:

WWT Hereford and Worcester group usually hold a committee meeting on a monthly basis. Meetings are often held at Worcester Golf and Country Club or the Kindle Centre in Hereford. New members are always welcome. We use LinkedIn to promote our events and to share news stories.

For 2023 the group are currently planning to deliver two events.

The first event will be held on 20th April at Ledbury Rugby Club in Herefordshire. This event will address a key strategic priority identified in HSE’s Protecting People and Places strategy, specifically how to reduce work-related ill health. Topics to be covered will include controlling respiratory risks, the use of respiratory protective equipment and MSDs. A second event is planned for 29th June at the same venue. This will be an asbestos awareness event. This event is still at the planning stage.

The group ran a successful event on Safety Management in October 2022. Topics covered included safety management in large and small companies, mental health and well-being, and where to get training and advice. The speaker line up included representatives from a Principal Contractor (BAM Nuttall Ltd), The Lighthouse Charity, CITB and HSE.
