Supporting a good cause: Hereford & Worcester group & The Lighthouse Club

Fund raising activity by the Hereford and Worcester WWT group has been recognised by The Lighthouse Club charity.
The group has recently received a certificate from The Lighthouse Club, the construction industry charity, in recognition of £100 the group has raised at two local WWT events.
The group organised two health and safety events for members in April and June 2023. The events were held at Ledbury Rugby Club in Herefordshire. Delegates were invited to make a donation to help support the work of The Lighthouse Club. The Club had previously given a presentation at an event organised by the group in October 2023, and the group were keen to raise awareness of the good work done by the charity and decided to raise funds for this worthwhile cause.
The Lighthouse Club is the only charity that provides emotional, physical, and financial well-being support to construction workers and their families. One way the club provides support is by making available a wide range of free resources.
The charity also offers support services including a construction industry helpline, a text message-based support service, a self-support mobile app and an educational & training wellbeing academy.
