The Hire Association Europe (HAE) has created a short video detailing how to safely handle and care for lithium-ion batteries used in power tools

Lithium-ion batteries are the most common rechargeable batteries used in power tools and equipment, such as drills, grinders, saws, and garden tools. They store a lot of energy in a small space and can handle high power demands. While generally safe, lithium-ion batteries can catch fire if used improperly or damaged.
